Column view
One way to browse: your bookmarks as columns you can drag, resize, and rearrange. Move folders within or between columns, or split one off into a new one

Everything lives in your real browser bookmarks — Pikamark just gives them a nicer home. Nothing is copied, hidden, or locked away. Uninstall and every bookmark is right where you left it
Gallery view
The other way to browse: any folder, or Home, as a tile grid with breadcrumbs and your notes close by. Pick compact or extended tiles, or switch to list view for full-width rows — whatever fits your screen
Favorites, color labels & tags
Star any bookmark, folder, or note, give it a color label, or tag it with free-named tags — then filter the board by favorites, color, or tag
Context, right on the link
Add notes and checklists as cards next to your folders, drop a comment on any bookmark to remember why you saved it, and set a reminder — for a date or a time of day — to come back to it. The context lives with the link, not in your head

Light or dark, five accent presets, or a fully custom accent for each mode — plus your own photo as the background, with an optional scrim that keeps folders and notes readable. Board and gallery both

Filter the board by bookmark, folder, or tag as you type — or press Enter to run a web search in a new tab. Sort by name, date, or your own order

One settings panel for the rest — choose a font, turn on pitch-black dark, show or hide the discovery folders, set the column count and tile size, and flip the small quality-of-life toggles

Drag & drop everywhere
Folders, individual bookmarks, and notes can all be reordered or moved freely — or use Move to folder… to file something without dragging it across the board
Edit in bulk
Turn on selection mode, then pick a run of bookmarks and folders by click, Shift-click, or drag, and tag, favorite, label, move, or delete the whole lot from one bar
Keyboard shortcuts
Single keys for what you do most: f to search, n for a new note, v to switch board and gallery, s for selection mode
Workspaces
One set of bookmarks, several named boards — say "Work" and "Personal" — each keeping its own layout, theme, and notes. Keep the switcher in the board toolbar or the page header

Deleted a bookmark, folder, or note by mistake? It waits 7 days in the trash and restores where it came from. Pikamark also snapshots your notes, tags, labels, and columns on its own, before every import, so you can roll back

Questions, answered
Does Pikamark work on my real bookmarks?
Yes — that's the point. Pikamark works on your actual browser bookmarks, not a copy, so they keep syncing through your browser account and any edit you make elsewhere shows up here too. Nothing is duplicated, and uninstalling leaves every bookmark in place. Pikamark only ever changes a bookmark when you ask it to — deleting is your action, never automatic
What happens to my bookmarks if I remove Pikamark?
Nothing. They're your browser's own bookmarks — Pikamark just gives them a nicer home. Removing the extension takes away only Pikamark's local extras (notes, tags, colors, layout), and Backup & restore saves those first if you want to keep them. Deleting a bookmark is always something you do on purpose, with an undo window
Can I get back something I deleted by accident?
Yes. Every delete shows an undo toast first, and after that the item sits in Settings → Trash for 7 days and restores where it came from. Pikamark also keeps automatic snapshots of your notes, tags, labels, and layout that you can roll back to
Do my notes, tags, and layout sync between computers?
Your bookmarks sync through your browser's own account. Pikamark's extras — notes, favorites, tags, colors, and layout — are stored locally on each device; use Backup & restore to move them to another computer
Can I keep work and personal separate?
Yes. Turn on workspaces and you get several named boards over the same bookmarks — each with its own layout, theme, and notes — and switch between them in two clicks
Is it free?
The core app is free for good — the board and gallery, unlimited notes, search, favorites, color labels and every theme, with no account and no ads. Pro is an optional paid tier that unlocks tags, comments and reminders, workspaces, automatic backups and personalization. Anyone who installed Pikamark before Pro existed keeps all of it for free
Does any of my data leave my browser?
Your bookmarks, notes and tags never leave your device — Pikamark has no server for them, no analytics, no tracking. The one exception is Pro: activating a license key sends that key, and nothing else, to the payment provider so it can be checked
Will it slow down my new tab?
No. Everything runs locally with no network calls when the page opens, so it renders right away. Your bookmarks are read straight from the browser
Why does Edge disable it right after I install it?
Edge automatically disables any extension that overrides the new-tab page, as a one-time safety check. Just turn Pikamark back on from edge://extensions
